Actually, I sat in the fully tricked out "disco ball" model, and the subwoofer sounded very firm and natural. I could easily make it overblown or subdued via the onboard (indash) EQ. I was listening to satellite radio at the time. The satellites, however, didn't sound very crisp..........but were good enough for factory speakers.
The controller in the center console reminded me of some gargantuan iPod controller
You can also control the audio via the touchscreen display, which we are sure to lose in the U.S.
I will be posting more pic of the Tokyo Auto Salon tonight- these would be the fully modified ones at the show, not stock.
But you guys should see the Modellista Street Billet version of the new bB... now that is nice,... with a protruding bumper replacement, and billet grill across the length of the bumper...
Well, I may be the 1st to own that in white in March this year, making my enquiries with my importer now and if all goes well, the car will be in Singapore in late March.

I just visited the toyota auto salon in Ikebukero(Amlux I think) and I have to say that it looks better in person(I'd post pics but they're nothing new). The dark colors help to hide the wierd lines in the front of the car, but not enough for me to purchuse one if it came out in the US. The interior was pretty sweet with the illiminating rings and speakers everywhere. If they just had the new interior in the old body, that would be sweet.
Inside nice - outside FUUUUUUUUGLY!. Can't wait to see all the paint chips on the vertical painted surfaces on the front of the new BB.
If I want music I'll buy an Ipod.
Scion are you LISTENING!
