new bBist flares... that's right... be jealous... :P
just got my fender flares from UPS. got them off eBay by the people who actually supplied bBist.com in the first place and only paid $140+$35s/h.
i was thinking about getting some custom steelies of the same width and diameter of that of the stock steelies but in -5 or -10 offset. i went and did a price check and it would be a couple hundred less if i were to just get a set of 15" sportmax / XXR 002's and stretch the stock goodyears on them.

doing a search now shows none from him right now. but if you search "scion xB fender flares" two other listings are up now of similar flares by a different seller. don't be fooled by the posted pics on the listings. mine was shown just about the same way, one picture was the olive green xB with those... petty flares *sorry, i don't like them...* and then an actual picture of the product.
I was afraid you would say that.
I just hope your products are better.

EDIT: i'm hoping the best too. just gotta do some touch up cuts and grinds and it should fit fine. i'm going to be hardcore and use BOLTS and NUTS
i see why people say they require some work to fit right. gotta do one bolt/rivet at a time and sorta pull it into place. it's no big deal, it's... awkward but not hard and when i hold and pull/stretch it just right it looks perfect and lines up just fine.
well glad you are having a better experience with him then a lot of other people.
Big Hungry has delt with him as well, and I have seen the ____ poor products that he has sold, hood, flairs. He is a hard person to deal with communication wise as well, or was.
glad you did not get screwed like others have.
will be looking forward to the end result.

damn... that sucks for you all.
these do need some trimming and leveling, but that's about it. i noticed on the right side rear passenger door flare, right where it cuts in to align with the door it gets slightly narrow, but almost un-noticeable unless you REALLY look at it but it's hardly noticeable and look just fine. other then that, there isn't anything wrong with them. well formed and non-warped for the most part.
communication with that guy was pretty good actually with me. emailed several times before my buy and got replies back each time within a decent amount of time. after buy communication was pretty solid *we had to update our paypal info after not using it for some time* so i let him know about that incase something went wrong. everything went very well.

here you go, some comparing images.
one the left is the left hand side flare with nothing wrong. on the right is the right side flare with the slide narrowing right at the cut in point that aligns with the door. you can see it's pretty hard to notice and it's only around the first riveting point. don't mind my pre-drill mark points. i did that just as a prep step to.

yea dealt with this guy too, bought a c/f hatch from him 2 days later faded the whole hatch....he offered a new hatch which is nice of him, but didnt want to pay another 200 bucks for glass transfer and hatch install, so he said he'll pay for re clear of the hatch....got it re cleared nuthing happend guy said not in the clear coat its in the c/f resin...so he uses crappy c/f nice...emailed him so many times with a 1-2 day reply but replies with a question, which goes on and on and doesnt solve anything 5 months later, he said ill give u another hatch if u pay back the money i spent for the clear coat...i was like WTF im not gonna pay for that... ur responsible giving me a good quality prduct so u should replace it....he didnt but gave me a refund....but still lost 200 bucks for install and glass transfer.... /vent
wow damn...
though i don't think i'd ever buy any real CF parts off ebay. i'd be willing to spend the full price from a distributer to get a quality CF product. this was just a FG product so i figured if it was phony and faulty, that i could fix it since i have some skill with fiberglassing.
i'm in the middle of doing some buffing on a few scuff marks and finishing up some buff gloss on my smoked lights. as soon as i'm done i'll get to actually fitting the flares. might have a shot at some used wheels to use with the flares for a while too so it'll all come together pretty quick.

Make sure you fill them. Put on some wheels with the right offsets and they will look good. my bBist fit like ___ too. But yours are fiberglass and can be worked on, mine are carbon and pretty much have to deal with it.
my temporary wheels *that i may have a shot to get* are some used 002's 15x8's. doesn't completely fill in the flares but it's alot better then stock. later i'm using some 17x9.5's with either +20 or +15.
