Is there an adjustment that can be made on the projectors to lower them. I finished the install today and went for a drive tonight and they are really high in their aim, so much so that everyone coming toward me flashed their lights, some would just hold their highs on which inturn I turned on the high beams and really annoyed them, it wasn't like I was doing it on purpose folks, I was on my way home to park it until I can get some info.

Any help would be appritiated

I've been checking these out on ebay as well. I think I might get a pair, although I'm debating if I should do the projector/hid's first or get some wheels/springs.

I just tried the adjustment screws in the back and then I figured out what the problem was, THEY"RE JDM, the light pattern is directed to the left, no amount of adjustment would correct this problem!!!

If anyone knows of a way to fix the light pattern ( change projector housings, adjust the housings, anything at all) please let me know cause I really like these lights!!

Thanks!

Register.

Upload your pics.

When your pics are uploaded, there will be three boxes under each picture. Copy the one which starts with [IMG]

make sure to copy the entire line, all the way to the [/IMG]

Paste that into your reply.

Thats it.

I just uploaded the pictures on clubxb.com (a lot easier) under the appearance section, you can check them out there if you want. They were taken from the right side front fender so you can see that they point toward the left.

Looks good, but that light pattern sucks. In the low beam pic, the left side is very noticeably high. There has got to be an adjustment. Speculation here, but I would wager that stock JDM is not that high, as our USDM are not that high on the right.

I cranked on the adjustment screw as far as it would turn (thats when I took the pictures), they still are high and to the left with no where else for adjustment. I emailed the vender from ebay because there was no indication of them being JDM on his site, still won't get anywhere but I let him know was not happy about his failure to disclose this info.

Oh well, stock ones going back in tommorrow, THIS SUCKS!!!

Are you changing the entire projector or just replacing the bulb used? If your replacing the bulb then I don't think the pattern would change because it is designed into the housing of the interior reflector of the projector.

As for the housing of the projector and the high beam lens the plastic seams to be thinner than that of the factory housing, the housing was able to flex a great deal more when I installed them than the factory were when I took them out, this might be why they don't recommend using HID in these housings.

Hope this helps and good luck with your project, let us know if you find a way to correct these problem, as I know a lot of us would be very greatfull!

Thanks!

I just went and looked at your pix on clubxb, that left beam is too high to be JDM. Im thinking that something is physically out of whack. Like something was not clipped in all the way on the production line. I actually like the look of these alot and am sorry you had to take em out. I might be able to "fix" these for you by either removing the front lens and making an adjustment, or somehow adjusting it without "going in" (ive been able to do this with an other style of projectors that had the same problem) Let me know, Id do it for free in exchange for you letting me take as many pictures as I can of them. Light pattern, inside, outside, seals, adjustments etc etc. Let me know..Just PM me. I just ask that you split the shipping (pay to ship to me and ill pay to ship back) Im really interested in these and would like to put this item in my collection of photos
