Default New Tail Lights...Now VSC/TRACK/ABS + Check Engine on!!!WFT!

Hey maybe someone can help with my problemo...

I just installed a set of the sonar LED tail lights, drove about 5 miles, shut it off. When I started it back up about 20mins later my VSC/TRACK/ABS + Check Engine came on... WTF is that about?

Anyone had a simalar problem, or maybe a possible reason why? That's very odd!

Thanks!!
Keith

isolated cause .

check out your mass airflow sensor. or more importantly the harness going into it.

So... every time I step on the brake it blows the 10amp fuse marked tail. I think this is causing the problem, but why?

K. found some pinched wires, fixed it all, the lights work now! But the vsc/trac and check engine still stay on NO ABS LIGHT now tho. I disconnected the battery for a few and tried it... same thing.

I'm having a big problem somewhat related.

I pulled out the brake light on the passenger side cuz it was out and when i put a new bulb in all three of the brake lights dont work now also vsc trac abs lights are on. Also my gauge light cluster and shifter lights wont turn on. I had to pop the tab off to shift the car because the transmission is stuck in Park.

Before anyone says its the MAF this happened immediately after i put the new bulb in, i made sure it was the 7443.

so to sum up

- vsc track abs light on
-gauge cluster light is not working
-tail brake lights are not working
-center brake light not working
-no light in shifter
-need to press button to shift out of park, brake does not release shifter

everything else is working fine including the back up tail lights, hazards, turn signals, and headlights.

Checked the tail and brake fuses and they both look good.
I tried resetting the unplugging the battery and that did nothing.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE HELP!!!!

Default OK HERE IS THE CAUSE AND FIX!!

I just did this today...wires got pinched and shorted when installing through rough metal openings in the body....all 3 lights came on and stuck in park...pull lights, fix wires and cover the harness in tape...replace the 10amp brake light fuse under the dash...all is well!!!!
