Hey All!!

I bought a new grille from ABS Dynamics. I am wanting to paint my new grill the same color as my xB, HOWEVER I am thinking of painting the inner mesh part black.....

I Know a few of you have this grill, and was wanting your guy's opinons....

I have mine painted body color with the inner mesh black. I think it goes better with the lower grills that way.

eh. it looks better on your car than on most others.

i think it looks alot better when it's black liek that compared to body color. if it;s body color you see the retarded side vents lol.

When I took these pics in my garage, It looked good! BUT when I pulled out side, had my xB facing the sun,- the grill looked like a gaping hole!!

I have to get the grill painted. It was just a polised plastic at first, but you could see some mold lines!

So I sanded it down and too it to a few body shops.....

The best all around deal was $130 all body color, $160 with the inner mesh part black....

Im torn between getting the inner part black or not......

Im thinking of paint the whole grille body color and mounting a black piece of plactic behind the grille....

geez! all the choices!!

paint the inner part black yourself and save money!

 

The whole thing's black already, right? So just mask the mesh then paint it (or have it painted).

 

Nice I just bought one from ebay for my RS 2, it looks better black.

 

I agree it looks like a giant hole or your grille is missing.... Body color might be cool.......

The problem with leaving any on of the grill the original blac is the fact that the grill had mold lines/ imperfections all over....

Ive decieded that I am going to have the whole grill painted TCM, and then I am going to either mount some black lexan behind the mesh part (for contrast) OR have a mirror cut to fit behind the mesh.....
