The holes are all fine and dandy, but my problem is we had a major wind storm up in Rochester NY and it actually ripped the non-muffler side of the lip right off my xb. And because of the winters here I cant do a body kit. So does anyone have any ideas on what i can do? I kinda like that one from eBay. I have already priced everything out from sparks.... ~$175.

Maybe I missed something... actually... yeah. I did.

Either you want to do this for looks or you want to do this for purpose. Looks I'm not going talk about because it's what you like, not me. But for function, I'm with DarkBox. You probably aren't going to "release" enough air from that location to change your perceived hp, your top speed, fuel economy, etc. Now if you were to couple that with an underbody venturi similar to Ferrari did on their F355's we'll talk. I've included a pic to get your thoughts going:



Then you can at least check the function off. Air channelled along the underneath of the car and out the rear provides downdraft (like with plane wings) and will help keep your shoes planted.

I'd be up for something along those lines... if I didn't have a turbo hanging down in the way.
