OEM wing with no hardware?
Hi,
I've found someone selling an OEM wing with no hardware...
what would be needed in this case? Bolts from home depot? and some 3m?
Thanks in advance

i used 3m auto tape on my wing a few weeks ago. the other day it got to 93 degrees and was very humid, my oem spoiler was somewhat hanging off, i could see the tape being pulled apart from the hatch. just today i predilled a hole, and used machine screws and a washer to help secure it down. took 2 minutes. hope this helps.

There is a Possibility, that someone is trying to sell you a'hot"wing.
Especially if they are advertising a too good to be true price on it.
Unless it is a friend or club member and you know who you are buying it from.
The Problem with the Tape Method is that the Wing can Easily Be Stolen
and removed when held on with even the strongest tape.
All a thief has to do is run fishing line underneath the tape. Work one
corner to the other and it is off and gone before you know it. A fellow thief
helping him hold the other end and it won't disturb the shaker alarm at all.
A Quick Score. They can clean up the tape residue and can sell it
for a fraction of the $300 price and No Questions Asked.
"Hardware? Not needed." Jut tape it on, they'll tell you.
There is an Entire Thread on this and SEARCH is your Friend on this site.

The Best Way to go is obtain the Dealer Hardware Install Kit.
You will get the template and where to drill the holes.
Take the time to do it right and not the Quick & Dirty Easy Method
of taping it on.
Bolt it In is my Recommendation.
But, the Choice is Yours. And the Thief on how he wants to remove it.
Be Smart. Don't give the Potential Thief on Easy Score.
