outside mirror disassembly question
yeah, just pull from the bottom of the mirror. you can see the two clips and put a screwdriver in ther to help pry...
the adhesive stuff will strech a bit. just go easy, it takes a few mins to do each one...

It looks like someone did know the technique for popping the mirror out, and so pried on it until it came unglued from its backing plate.

the glue looks to hold the mirror to the black frame.
but it also looks like it should stop and small vibrations to the movement base...
