Are grilles are already painted? Are you talking about the 2 lower bumper grilles?

Are you sure you want to paint them red on BSP? To each his own, but that might be leaning on the tacky side, IMO? I'd leave them clack as they fade better and will draw more attention to the red you described.

here's a camo w/ yellow bottom grills:

if I hadn't seen a pic, I would've thought this was a bad idea. but, this is one hot xB... the wheels, the hood, the stickers... it all works together. my advise - think of the overall composition of the car and then see if you still want to paint. if so, go for it.

That yellow... god no.

The only acceptable colors to paint the bottom grill are silver and body matched.

If you just don't want to spend the money try e-bay for grill mesh
$5.99 for 6" x 36" piece with $3.75 shipping.

Painted mine. Used auto paint in a can and sprayed and clear coated. Just like anything else. Base/Top/Clear

My feeling is, if you do paint the grille, everything I've seen so far was too much color. That is why I painted just the leading edge of the honeycomb. I chose yellow to match my car but you should choose a color to compliment yours (perhaps gray or silver).

I saw ubow's car in person. The grill looks really good. Your front will look even better once you clear those headlights
