Default people w/ HID's in oem headlight...

do you lose the high beams? and do the lights turn off whenever you flash the high beams?
are the bi-xenons worth it? do they work pretty good?

thanks,
benjamin

i have the Bi-Xenons and i rarely use the highs...
these do come with a shield though so the cutoff is sweet and almost no glare.. haven't gotten flashed yet...

can i ask where and how much???

i was reading about the luminic bulbs, how people are raving about they're the best thing next to the HID's?

i don't know, i might give the bulbs a shot. but i really like HID's. i had HID kits on my previous cars, but they were all double headlights (high beam is seperate from low beams). so i didn't have to worry about losing the high beams.

i really don't like the halo's or any other double headlights other than the jdm one's, but they are too expensive plus i'm not sure if the beam pattern are adjustable.

thanks,
benjamin

thanks guys, after some research, i've found out there's one more type of HID, make it total of three options:

-H4 single beam, which many of you have, you lose the high beam
-H4 hi/lo, which low beam is HID, and high beam is halogen.
-H4 bi-xenon, which both high and low beams are HID.

i still haven't made up my mind yet, but i definitely don't want halos on my xb.

thanks,
benjamin

Sry I don't have HID's. When I do get them I sure won't get a P&P kit for my stock housing though.

i wouldn't want both high and low beams to be HID. my HIDs take a good 10 seconds or so to fully flicker on. i'd be fine with HID low beams and luminics or silverstar high beams.
