Default Pics of my 2005 BOP xB

Hi Everyone,

Well, I finally installed my "last mod" (ha! as if there is such a thing!) and took some pics.

Posting pics in forums has always given me trouble.. let's try here..

Quick Mods List:
Kenstyle Bodykit, 18" SSR SP-1's, TEIN Basic Coilovers, DataSystems Aeromaster Grill, Ichikoh Velias Headlights, some Blitz stuff that you can't see in the pic (not the s/c though)

Let me know if there are any questions, constructive criticism is welcome!

*edit* switched to scionlife gallery, pics should work now. sorry about that!

*edit* posting pix out of imagestation is the suXXoR! (did i say that right? lol)

Marc's xb, those are the Ichikoh Velias headlights, with the housing painted body color. The housing normally comes in chrome and can be seen here (http://www.ichikoh.com/youhin/product/head.html). I had to order them from Japan and it took a looooong time to get here. If you are interested, I got them through bulletproofautomotive.com. Ask for Roo, he was the one that helped me out

Thanks EEk. I love those lights but I saw the price and I . Oh the price of beauty. Are yours the HID or Halogen?

yah, i love my lights too, they give my car a distinct character. The price is hard on the wallet.. and stomach (instant noodles anyone?). Mines are the Halogen version, as it was I could barely justify spending what I did on those. The HID ones being twice as much.. I just couldn't do it.

Still, the lights are plenty bright enough and 'cleaner' looking than the stock lights.

Nice and clean! The grill goes really well with the headlights...Can you drop the coilovers about 1/2-3/4 inch lower?

Default Grill

I love that grill, where did you get it and how much did it cost?

Thanks!

The rears are cranked down as low as they can go without taking out the cup that the coilovers sit on (this is what my friend told me, he installed them for me). Taking out the cup would yield me another 1/2 inch or so but he said it would squeak because of rubbing parts. I got plenty of weird rattles already, don't need anymore noises

The front can be lowered quite a bit more. I've had them set 1/2" lower than pictured with still more crank left to make them even lower. I had to raise it back up to it's current height because I would scrape my front lip coming in and out of my driveway. I used to have to lay a 2x4 out everytime I left or came home just so I wouldn't scrape and one time had to do it in a 'torrential downpour'. After that, I couldn't take it anymore - I guess I'm not hardcore enough haha

The grill is made by DataSystems and is from their Aeromaster line (http://www.datasystem.co.jp/catalog/aero/toyota/bb.html). The company is based in Japan and I ordered it direct from them through my brother who lives there. Shipped, unpainted it came out to about $360. It's FRP and of very good craftsmanship. The grill is actually two pieces (the 'frame' and the 'backing') and both are thick fiberglass. It also comes with a wire mesh grill that goes between the frame and backing - I haven't decided if I want that installed, but maybe I'll put that in and post pics just for reference.

you want a plainer look? nah, i think the HB grill would match very well with the other pieces you have in mind. dont you have the hood spoiler thing too?
