I still have the car its for sale of course but Ive been working on my 08 xb which is getting spings manufactured on it right now in baltimore.

Hey Lowdown....Is you search for other posts that SmartAss has started, you would see that his project is completely custom. He did everything to his 1st gen xB himself with no real kits. If you read his suicide door posts you will see that it was MUCHO work and it was all experimental.

 

i dont have hours just to find what kit he used, seems to me like its a top secret experiment that noone is allowed to know anything about, hes not the first one to do suicide doors, ive hears about alot of crappy hinge kits and just dont want to spend my money on P.O.S hinges, thats the ONLY info i wanted was about the hinges and nothing else, im not afraid to cut a car apart theres nothing that cant be fixed, and why does everyone asume that i have no fabing skill? i didnt ask how to do it just about the hinges...and that was it

I like the flat black just like it is.....

 

The car looks very meen with just the flat black and dark tint.

If it was me I'd keep it plain with what you've got now, but that's not my decision. Who knows, after you add some of that pinstriping it could really pop even more.
