Default Pics: Wade, in channel vent shades

I just installed my wade in channel vent visors.. There not very beefy, which is what i wanted. I was going to spray the undersides black, but chose not to lose
any visibility and left them alone. So, here they are..

They look good. I have the same ones. I think you made the right choice by not painting them. Did you have to do any trimming at all? I had trouble with the fronts, which needed to be shortened a bit.

Be extremely careful with them. I broke/cracked all 4 of mine just by putting the windows up. The back will just catch the window as it goes up and crack the corners. The driver and passenger side will roll under at the back and snap.

I loved the way they looked, but wasn't happy with the quality, on either set of them I had. You shouldn't have to push them out to roll up your windows.

I have the Ventvisor ones, they look exactly the same I think. The rear passenger side one went bye-bye one day last summer while I was doing 75 with the windows down. I never heard a thing, I just saw that it was missing when I got where I was going.

Ah, they look great! I was thinking about purchasing some but I didn't know if they would fly out if I was driving or if they'd crack and get stuck on my windows when I rolled them up.

Thanks for the info.

I will say, when you install them, inserting them, you have to
bend them so much, it feels like you are on the edge of
breaking them. I think that is a good thing, so they seat
tight. The distructions (meant to spell it that way, lol) also
tell you to immediatley roll the window up and down 5 times
(I assume to seat the adhesive), then leave them up for 3
days" to find a home"... I also used the included alcohol
wipes to clean the points the adhesive was going to make
contact with, I got my windows tinted at the same time, and
left them up for 7 days. During this time the rubber window
run channel forms itself around the visors. this weekend I
went on a 150 mile round trip, windows down, and no
problems.. the run channnels formed to them nicely, and
when I rolled them up, no contact was made with them by
the glass. I also averaged a speed of 85mpg (I mean mph,
but 85mpg would be nice too, lol).. and topping
out over a 100, with not one of them budging.. So far,
Great!! and would reccomend them.. though it hasn't been
that long yet, so.....

I'm thinking about getting these for my box. Question, do they keep the rain out? I like driving around with the windows open and it sucks because as you guys know what Seattle is known for... but if they don't keep the rain out theres no point

In a storm, with the windows up (sorry, only example I have),
I looked at the glass, and saw maybe a dozen speckles of
water.. in other words you might feel a drop of water in the
form of mist, but it wouldnt collect in the car.. I think its
definatley a HUGE help.. we arent as rainy as seattle, but we
get our fair share of daily storms in the summer.. I trust 'em..

Edit:

I bought them soley for the reason of after it rains, you hop
in the car with the windows down, and at the first stop you make,
you get a water fall in the front doors.. it has solved that

Until mine broke I enjoyed them and they do keep the rain out. I would have preferred them to be wider.
