my dad has a hhr and is wanting whitewall but not wanting the cost,, how do the portawalls actually go on the wheel? thanks in advance for the help.

They fit between the rim and tire bead.
I think Coker also has them and Vintiques

i think they only make them for 14" and 15"
I'm sure the hhr is bigger.
You stick them on the side of the tire just under the bead

i found 16" ones on ebay and a few other places... so do they have to be put on when the tire is being sealed or is it something u can slip in? thanks

I'm thinking if you were to let the air out of the tire and lube up the whitewall they should slip in. Worse case would be to have the front bead broke down, white wall installed then re-inflate. No biggie

Man, those starts look hot! I was thinking about doing some Navigation type stars kind of bouncing along side of mine.

But yours might make me rethink.
