Would have got the hot lava but I didn't know it existed, then my next 2 options are dicontinued, and i couldn't get my boyfriend 2 aprove of envy green. I actually thought I was getting camoflage when i ordered my car, but i still like my shadow mica.

I'm with Tomas, in terms of geography and color strategy. Living in Seattle, we've got gray roads and gray sky with gray rain coming out of them for a good chunk of the year, not to mention the nearly 16-hour long nights that follow the protracted periods of twighlight that pass for day in the winters around here. When I'm on the road, I want people to see me.

Solar Yellow (RS 2.0) - If I'd started car shopping a year earlier, I would have squealed with delight like a little kid and snapped up an RS 2.0.
Polar White - I <3 my white box. On sunny days, I can hardly stand to look out the front window because of all the glare.

On the other hand, I do choose to live in this gray place, so I must have some affinity for the dark and dingy...

Another Blue Onyx Pearl owner here.
Love it.
Only other color option on the '06 I considered was Polar White.
Like them both, but glad I got the BOP.

Least favorite has to be Camo. What were they thinking.
And the BOP. They couldn't have gone a little lighter so you could tell it's blue instead of black?

 

Over a week & almost 40 replies into this thread, figure I'd do a lil' tally to see what colors are holding strong.
I jotted down everyone's top 3 for cosideration, based on those #'s here are the Leaders:

1) HOT LAVA (original RS 1, isn't it?)
2) Polar White
3) Solar Yellow (RS 2)
Envy Green/RS 3 is Very close to top 3 also

Guess most ARE ISO the Brighter colors, although BCP, ShadowMica, & BOP are standing their ground too.

Toward the BOTTOM of the list are BlackSand, Camo, & TCM.
& I didn't see ONE single (top 3) vote for Salsa Red Pearl??? Guess replacing the BCP wasn't such a popular move...no fans of red out there?

The only one I can't understand is the PW. It's so plain looking. Too bad there wasn't a pearl white taken from Lexus.
