I'm just getting some things done to my box.
Wheels are the infamous JLINE 6SL2 - 18x8 205/40 custom staggered offset
Thanks!

Dont get them from the dealer, they overcharge. You can probably find some one ebay, or some local sporting goods store (REI, SportsChalet, any local bike shops, etc). They attach on by their mounts. No drilling or screws. Visit their websites for more info.

I posted side-view pics in my other thread. Curtains are not from ebay, nor are they Garsons (out of my budget!). I bought it online from someone in Singapore. PM me if u interested.

Could I get some close up pics of how those racks mount up to the xB?

I'm not worried about paint dammage, I am curious for other reasons.

I just got my xB a week ago and had the dealer install my roof rack today. The rear bar was all scratched up on both ends. I called the service manager outside to take a look at it and he said that its normal for them to get scratched when installing them! Anyone else have a problem like this? Needless to say, I didn't accept that excuse and they are supposed to get me a new bar.

The dealer is full of BS, there should not be any scratches.

It sure is BS. I know exactly what they did because I did it to one side of one of my bars, and it is the installer's fault! When assembling, the bar slides through a round clamp, and after the bar and clamp are in the correct location you tighten down the clamp. If you have the clamp too tight while sliding the bar in and out, the clamp will scratch the bar. They did not loosen up the clamp enough before tightening. As I said, when installing mine I did it to the first clamp I installed, noticed what I was doing wrong and made sure to loosen all the others before proceeding. If they have ever done one of these installs before they should be aware of it. One the other hand, it is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect any operation, and being aluminum it won't rust.

So those things clamp on in the door openings? Do you think that clamp thingy would work back above the rear most side window?

I want a luggage style rack that goes over the back of the roof.
