Default Projector Headlights from Ebay

Hello, Im new and I have a 2006.5 xb. My only "mod" is the apple sticker in the back.

Soon enough ill take photos and show. But as for the topic,

So ive been looking at these headlights for a while now. I ran a search here on them and noticed the complaints about light output. This was not surprising to me. Although I know HID's will fix this problem right away. But in your opinion, do you think I will have sufficient output with these headlights and silverstar (or similar) bulbs?

Thanks for the input

The light output with Silverstars is equal to OE lights, IMO. The complaints are about the aim, not the brightness.

You are talking about these, right?

i have the projectors from ebay. I bought them from atomic street and love them. you can adjust up , down left and right. i put silvestars in before the install and adjusted the lights. I get flashed by people constantly and they arent aimed that high. Get the lights and put a good set of bulbs in them and you'll be fine.

Bulbs are what makes and breaks these headlights. I have silverstars in mine and I think they are totally weak. I will be getting new headlight housings all together this week and trashing the projectors for good. They're crap if you ask me....

Ah, my bad man. Petey I havent seen you since like November! Where you been hidin man? Anyway, I still think all the projectors are lame without HID bulbs in them. Im going back to OEM housings for now. I think it looks cleaner anyway...

Buy latex sealant in a tube from any hardware store and find every little hole in the back of the housing and apply a bit of the sealant. I did that on my dual projectors and they haven't fogged since (almost a year with them now). Apply sealant to areas that you're not sure is a gap/hole just in case. You might be able to test them in a bathroom while running a steaming hot shower (so you don't put them back on before the fogging is fixed). Unless the lenses are cracked, you should be able to prevent fogging with little effort/time/money.

also on the back of the headlight housing, there are 3 or 4 breather holes that are capped...if u take the caps off, that should take care of the fogging issue.

I do not recall. I used a voltmeter and determined which of the three had blinking power with the turn signals and which had constant power with the parking lights on, the third is the ground. Hook the red wire to the constant power, and the black to the ground.

If anyone else knows the constant parking light power, please let me know

if you hook up to the blinker power, would that look OK to blink the halos
