Default Question....Input needed

Okay, Guys. I really need some help, here. And, I promise, I have used the search feature, first. But, the question that I have is related to rivetless fender flares.

I just ordered a set of them in carbon fiber. I know that these supposedly are held on wit double sided tape. However, i think I have also read where they are also supported with the existing bolts used to hold on the front bumper in the wheel wells. Well, I am riding VERY low and I screwed around and broke one of the brackets that hold on my passenger side of the front bumper (Currently held on by zip-ties). So, I basically cannot attach it with the bolts in the fender well on that side.

Can these flares be attached WITHOUT the bolts in the front fender? Are they necessary to support the flares and hold them in place sturdy?

Anyone with experience with THESE type of flares (rivetless) PLEASE chime in and help me out. Or, if you dont think it works, are there any ways you think I could fab up a piece or any solution to my "no bolt" issue? Thanks in advance.
