Does anyone know the proper way to remove the rear emblems of the xB. I think i remeber reading somewhere, it is with a hot air gun. Please respond if you know.

Just use a screw driver and a cloth. That how I did it. It was easy and left no markings on the back where they used to be.

9 of out of 10 dentists agree that dental floss is healthy for removing your rear emblem.

Blow dry each emblem seperately. Blow dry until hot to touch, however don't blow dry on the same exact spot (aka move around the blow dryer side to side across the emblem(s)) because if you do, the paint can bubble up.
Next, take a screw driver with paper thin (yet strong) cloth and wrap cloth around wedge and wedge them off. double sided tape keeps the emblems on, so you will have to quickly after removal (per one) remove the rest of the tape before it gets hard again. just roll off with your fingers.

Once you've completed those, wash the back door off (whole car if dirty ) to get the rest of the crud off. don't worry if you still have a few spots, it will eventually come off. i would have touch up paint ready just incase you accidently screw up! Sit back and enjoy!

Blow dryer or heat gun and fishing line or dental floss.

Using a screwdive is liable to chip or scratch paint or dent if you aren't very very careful.

Fishing line is the best because it is strong. Dental floss does break easily, but it's something you probably have in the bathroom.

Hey! Since I didn't take mine with a hot air gun (used floss techniquie...), do you think scion sells the "scion" emblems?

some jerk took my toyota emblem off the back of my xB. I wasn't that mad that they stole it, its just that they left a fat scratch... ARGHH!!
