I've checked around and found the price for rear lights on ebay to be about half what online stores charge. Is this because they're knockoffs? Should I not waste my time with them or is the quality ok? Something like this...

These look like the ones I bought off of ebay, except mine are the red lens. They are probably the Sonar brand. I have had these on my car for over a year now with no problems. The led's are bright. I am really pleased with them. This might be the seller I bought from, but I can't remember. They are really easy to put in. Check out this thread of my tail light installation:
