Default Rear lip install.

I'm installing a lip on a friends box this week... I just wanted to verify that it's just the two screws in each wheel well and some 3M tape along the edge... anything else I need to worry about?

The lip has already been installed on a box, so fitment shouldn't be an issue.

if it is just the lip you are removing...

it should have 6-7 body pins from the inside going up...then it has a clip design builin to it.

Okay... so once the stock lip is removed, how do you recommend installing the new one?

From what I recall of the new lip, I only saw the two holes for at the wheel well. Otherwise, I didn't see any obvious mounting points.

the two holes are for the body pins...

thats it for this lip...i would go ahead and think about adding some small screws along the seam on the inside. (do this before sending it out for paint...)

okay, and I just reuse the stock body pins?
I figured a screw or two might not be a bad idea...
It's already painted.

it should take two pins on the outer corners.
then from under the car run some small/short screws in the seam.

as you said it has been on another box, i'll save you the fit before paint speach.

just be careful of the screws...it might crack the lip if they are too big...or they might come through the bumper if they are too long...

Thanks for the help... one last thing...
Is it going to be easier to remove the bumper, or mount the lip with the bumper attached?

so long as you can fit under it and use tools.

Well... as I kinda expected, it fit like azz.

The lip would need a lot of work to get it to fit remotely well. I wish I had seen the previous boxes this thing was on, because it had to look just as ____ poor.

The stock lip is back on the box.
