Does it "work" to what? It's just a plug for the hole in the hatch after removing. I'd search the forums, I'm sure someone has posted where to get a plug cheaper.

i plugged mine up with something from the doit center that cost like 1.30. Its a 1 inch plug, the size you need, and its metal. I painted mine with touchup paint from the dealer.

Yikes.

Go to Lowes. Get a 1" hole plug. Save $12.

A good hardware store should have a variety of 1" plugs both plastic and metal for way less than $8.50.

I agree 100% with the above statements. Don't spend the extra $$ when you can get exactly what you need at your local hardware store.

I did a quick look and that guy/gal has sold at least two of those already. The description doesn't even indicate if it's metal or plastic. I'm also wary of any auction that doesn't have a decent close up pic of a part.
