Default Regarding the door keyholes.

Hi everyone. Im new here. first post.

anywayz I have already used the search button numerous times, and have even checked the Tech section and cannot find what im looking for.

just wanna know what size plugs everyone is using for the door keyholes? ive seen posts in here before about it but cant seem to find them anymore.

i like the whole kinda "shaved" look it gives off. and it makes the car look alot cleaner IMO.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The 1" plugs were for the rear wiper hole. I used one from Lowes after removing the rear wiper.

The door keyholes are another story. I think the ones I linked are the best out there. He also makes matched plugs for the rear wiper hole as well. Excellent work too. I'm getting Keyhold Covers shipped to me right now, and most likely will get a Wiper Plug sometime soon too.

I hear ya... due to the way the keyhole is designed though, you're gonna have a hard time finding something.

The one's that Dev makes for the doors are really nice, I have a set, and I have a 1" for the wiper... the door ones were 12.50 last time I checked, so they're certainly reasonable.

Thanks for the support guys.

I just want to mention that doing it your self is admirable, you learn something and it does save you money but I would like to point out that my covers although may seem more expensive then the do it your self projects is still a better value.

I use only the best chroma based paint, German clear coat and everything in between which is of the highest quality
The techniques and tooling have been standardized.

Basically if you were to do it yourself with the materials I use it would cost a fortune but since everyone here splits the paint and other products everyone benefits and so do I. I have made large initial investment for you guys and I have been very happy with my sales here and I will continue to support you guys with more products.

Great! Have you put together a deal for 3? 2 door holes and one rear wiper plug price?

I think I will do that right now, thanks for reminding me.

On another note I finished all of the R&D for the new product 3AM in the morning that has been in development for over a year which was very frustrating.
I had to read many books, consult the experts and had many failures along with way but because of your support I was able to take a good deal of the profits and invest it right back into this project. I hope it will be a big hit like the covers.

The new product that everyone has been waiting for is factory painted decals.

It has hundreds of uses like for instance my spyderchat guys want to use them to cover up the rocker panel gaps. Other uses are to cover up the license plate holes and for you xB guys you can use it to cover up the washer nozzle after you remove it to give it a flush look.

There maybe many more uses and that's for you guys to figure out.
The material is a good quality industrial decal that is super thin like a membrane but it is also durable. The paint now sticks to it and is one with the decal so it will not crack when it is bent at a 90 degree angle and when you stretch it to where it breaks off does not separate.

I had to make it as durable as can be because I will not have a warranty after the decal has been used. The warranty will be covered if before the application If there is something wrong with the finish before the application.

I am waiting on materials. As far as your chip goes it will do the job but keep in mind that it will take months for it to blend in to the paint because it will look like a fresh spot. It would be good a temporarly fix and no one should notice it but if somone was looking for it keep in mind that they may see it.
