Im in the middle getting the box shaved and am wondering if anyone has suggestions for the location of the popper install.

Whatever you do, please make sure that you have an emergency door unlock. One of my friend's battery died and she couldn't get into the car....

Yea, but if the battery dies, the windows don't work either.

i'd be interested in seeing as well..

because that would be helpful for me as well to have a backup panel just in case battery dies

but also The way my grill is designed(open) i can reach in and just get to the latch to lift my hood to get t0 the battery so then i'd just need the jumper cables from that point...but i'm gonna double check that theory this weekend to be sure...

ive heard door poppers are notorious for burning out so for now i'm just going to keep it simple i guess...unless there are some who can refute the burning out constantly myth..but i do need to solve this problem as well ASAP for myself

how do you get into yours now that the handles are shaved without a solonoid to pop the latch? i have mine shaved for 2 years now and havent had any problem with the solonoids. i had a relay that went bad on me once but that was it.

Randode helped weld in my 35lb Autoloc solenoid through the factory Keyless entry but I didnt install the actual popper yet so it only pops open a 1/2 inch or so.
