well thanks! believe it or not, that is not a fresh wax job. I ended up getting pulled out to a club meeting the night before, and washed it in a u-spray-it, using the '3 bucket' method. I normally wash in my driveway, but it was the middle of the night, and that was the only place i could think of that had (even minimal) light.

I try to wax every other week, and was due for it for this show. I strip and clay every oil change. I normally put on mequiars nxt tech wax, buff that off, and hit it with mother's caranuba, buff that off, and go one more time with mother's polish. A friend of mine recently reccomended mother's 'reflections', and with the one time i've done it, it seems that I may be able get away with just one coat of that stuff. Seems like very nice wax. I didn't strip it before applying, so there may be some other factors at work here.

I've never washed and/or waxed a car as much as i do this one. All my previous vehicles were either white or silver, and i just didn't know what i was getting into with this color. My first few washes, i was absolutely unable to get the car 'clean', with water spots everywhere, and that frustration drove me to find and refine a process of detailing the box.
