i just ordered some on ebay. but i was wondering if they were legal in most states or if the pigs just dont care.

Most cops think mine are stock. I say eff it and put them on.

 

They are no doubt not legal--it just depends on what they are looking for to pull you over.

 

How "smoked" are we talking here?

 

A cop told me I had to take mine off, but then he took a second look and said mine were fine because you could still see the red parts of the tail light up close. He told me if you can't see any red parts anymore, even when you stand up close it's illegal. But this was in CA. Idk about VA

 

if its ok in cali he'll be ok anywhere else.....lol!!!!

 

It depends on the cop but since you bought them already its too late now aint it? But it depends on the officer that is going to pull you over!
