Pretty straightforward. Use the emblem removal tech:

to take off the emblems. Once off, use spray paint in the color of your choice (I used automotive dark grey). I think staying away from a clear coat gives the best looks, your call though. I then used contact cement on the emblem and the remaining portions of tape on the hatch, waited ten minutes, and pressed the emblem back on. Good luck!

cool, thanx dude. Did contact cement work good, kinda curious about using that.

 

It's held up for about a month, with a couple of automatic car washes and still seems to hold well.

 

if you do the front emblem, clear coat that bad boy, several times, it makes it look better and it stays on better.
