I estamate this will take a month tops.I went to my manufacture on friday 8/8/08 and got this ball rolling. For those of you who are getting them painted by me please give me 3 weeks to get them painted after I get them in stock. In about 2 weeks I will have a production proto type to show you.I will close this list on 9/12/08 if your not on it get on it now! add yourself or pm me and just say add me and the color if you want it painted. They are made of high impact polypropylene and will be trimable to style it up more yourself if you want.

I say late sept because key people at my manufacture were on vacation when I deoped off my part and did not get to do any thing with it for 2 weeks I should hopefully have a price per part this week and a perduction proto in 2 weeks then another 2 weeks to manufacture a qty of 25 the ball is rolling .

comon people we need to pay up . If I cant get every one on this list to pay up I will not be able to afforrd the molds and this will not happen. I am sorry for thoes who have paid and if this does not happen in the next few days I will be forced to give refunds. I am all setup with my manufacture they just need $ for the molds and trust me I cant do it all out of pocket I need the pre payments. EZ-BAKED i give you mad props. You make some amazing pieces and you have certainly contributed more to the Scion community than i ever will.

That being said; if i am going to drop close to $300 on a part i would like to know what it is going to look like; i know your renders have been sufficient in the past with other items but for the FFF i need to see how it is going to look. And it would be nice to know details about what badge (if any) is it designed around (Scion oval or Bb).

I have wanted eyelids for the longest time but the ones you made were just not the kind i was looking for. I have no doubts as to your dedication and skills as a craftsman; I would really like to know what it is going to look like on my box so I am not blindly putting cash on an item that may not be my style.

Frank, what kind of eyelids were you looking for? I wasn't happy with the default shape EZ had, so I ordered a set of his blanks and trimmed them to my desired taste. The blanks have a LOT of material on them so you can get pretty creative with the dremel. I trimmed above the turn signal protrusion and now they even fit on my Sonars.

 

thats pretty cool man but i just do not have the patience and i would end up ruinging them

 

I believe EZ said the fff would NOT have a cutout for an emblem unless you specified you wanted one cutout, then he would do the one shape you wanted. Also, I think the fff would cover the area where the emblem would go. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes it would be disappointing I just cat put out the 8g's I dont have to make this part. .I need the people who said they would pay to do so.

 

Since only 2 people on the list show that they have not paid, that is only 550.00. If everyone paid on the list it still isn't near 8g.

Are you going to refund everyone anyways or cover the differnece?

 

no 7 people have not paid. needs to say paid . wich is not 8g but close and would make it worth while and will make it happen. I cant afford to shell out all this $ and have only five people want them I have to make 100 peices on my first run. I know they would sell I just cant afford to do it all on my own. I need the $3,500. to get my foot in the door I can wing the rest with my manufacture.

 

EZ, if i can get the $ together soon, i might be able to do a pre-pay. Just dont count me in yet, but im working on getting some cash!
