I'm looking for something different than the oem style spoiler for my 4-slicer any ideas or pics of what others are using?

 

uhhh .... bbist fab or vis style are popular ones.
search "spoiler" and you will get a billion results.

 

right now I've had almost every wing available for an xb. I had the OEM, carbon OEM style, carbon type 1 (fab), and now I have the bBist type 2 wing. It will all depend on what look you want to go for now and the future. make sense? Try not to do what I'm doing. Experimenting includes holes and an empty pocket. Good luck on your decision.

 

bBist type II.

 

what exactly is the difference between bbist type I spoiler and type II spoiler. i know their replicas of different brands like fabulous and the other one. but sometimes i cant tell the difference

Type 1 is longer and doesn't hang down on the sides. Type 2 is shorter and does hang down a bit.

 

and they just hang on w/ 3M double stick tape.... easily stolen in the event someone likes the $300 wing... correct me if i'm wrong

 

No. Clips are also used on each side of the spoiler, latched down onto the hatch itself. Only way to get the clips off is to open the hatch and remove with an allen wrench.

 

just push it off hard enough with a buddy and it will come off.i wouldnt wanna take that chance.i have enough problems with my fff.

 

yeah right. push it hard enough. that would break the wing then no use for anyone. BTW, did you call Midnight Garage? the number I gave you to paint your finisher. I p/m'd you about a meet there over the weekend too.

he said he is also painting some parts for his car in the same color so he hooked it up.

 

by the way that is a nice box.ive seen some wings like this on other xbs but for some reason they look bigger.is it just a diffrent design?

 

It's the type II. Smaller design I guess. I just like the way it flows.
