Sonar Projector Headlight Adjustment
my passenger projector is a good 8-10 inches below my other projectors line. how do i adjust it, i tried a few things but didnt want to break my brand new headlights, its actually kind of embarrassing, i rebuild cars for gods sake, but.....none the less.....HELP! lmao.
can you post a pic of your lights? the $hitty kind with the 3 leds do not have any adjustment on them.. the better kind that only has the halos has adjustments screws on back of the housing, just like stock.. one screw for l&r and another for u&d..
you can tell by looking at the back of the LED versions housing that there is absolutely no adjustment screws. i had them.... i was a sucker.. i couldn't find a pic of the back of the no led halo housing, but i can assure you, there are 2 adjustment screws on back.

yep i had the crap ones too, no light output, halos went dead after 6 months, leds stopped working....ive just never done a headlight ajustment.....and i found 1 metal screw with a washer around it that is toothed on one said, and then 2 plastic **** i can pop off and its got a D shaped hole in it, i put a screwdriver in it to try n turn but it started bending plastic. any ideas
if its DOT approved, id imagine their would be an adjustment screw somewhere. thats why it would be DOT stamped.
in NC if the headlights cannot be adjusted and their out of aim according to the headlight aimer/shadow box. then it would fail inspection
