Splitter?
I had made this splitter some time back and it ended up tearing my front lip off on a steep driveway. Well anyway, i was thinking of making another one but this time out of 3/8" ABS plastic and with ss turn-buckles. Should be more flexible and forgiving. Any opinions on how it looks or if it's worth the effort?

Here are a few pics of the splitter template bolted to my XB.

This is how the turnbuckles will connect:
I drove to a show on the west coast of Florida (200 miles round trip+-) on saturday and it seemed to survive ok. Hopefully will be able to get the sheet of abs plastic this week. Also need to get 2-6" stainless turnbuckles. I friend said they have them at marine supply stores.

Firesqr, pm me and I'll email the drawing file or send a paper copy. I found a local plastic supplier by googling abs plastic. It comes in 4x8 sheets and I think a 3/8" sheet was $88. I friend said most marine supply store will have the ss turnbuckles or can order them. Don same to you, email me your addy and the pattern is on it's on the way.

Cool, will do when I get home so I can easily do that from the compjupiter and not the phone... also, I want to say how sickening it is, your oil pan looks nice and clean enough to eat off of... you and your florida paved roads.. LOL
Don, sorry to see your post about Hannah getting her teeth kicked in. She's had a tough life. That duck tape does wonders. I still have a white XB hood with a blue stripe if you ever need one. I'll be looking for you email.
