Okay, so I (like many others) would practically kill for a Damd Lover Soul wing. The problem is, they just don't exist. There were rumors of a knockoff being created, but I don't think it's ever going to happen. So, here's my question (don't shoot me!)

The spoiler off of the Monte Carlo is remarkably similar to the design of the Lover Soul. They can be had off of ebay quite easily. Does anyone know the dimensions of it off hand, and f it'd work on the box?

Obviously it will need some modification, but still, it certainly appears to be a viable solution.

i would think anyone thats good with fiberglass could make it work.
how much is the monte wing?
i got my wing off ebay, but i dont know i would recomend the guy i got it from. it can from japan and the guy did a crapy finishing job befor the primer and i had to have my local guy stip it all the way down and do a full now coat of resin and then reprimer befor painting. but over all it turned out very well.

Theoretically... if it was that easy though, don't you think more people would have it?

 

About the monte carlo spoiler... I dont think it would work, or be worth it to try and use it to make the damd wing. Its too different. Too skinny... Might as well just fab the whole thing from scratch.

maybe cuz alot of people dont know about the link or that you can. people order parts from japan all the time. it only takes a long time getting here. try it out let us know, be the guinea pig

shipping was a bit expencive.

I have never seen a damd wing besides the first pic in this thread.
If someone made a knock off here in the states, I think they would make a killing ;)

 

 

I don't think the monte carlo spoiler would work very well. Why not get a cheap one off ebay and use that to try and make a Damd replica.

No offese... but thats not quite it. Looks good and all....

But it's not even in the same ballpark as the damd wing.

The damd spoiler is a lot shorter, and it looks like it rises at a steeper angle.
