You read it right it needs a little work but I need to paint it any way so the price was right for a change of pace grille.

hahahahahahahhaa
Ever thought about spraypainting your horns black to hide them better?

^^^ LOL yesh i have but i loved the red. even when i've driven around with them showing, i really haven't been bothered by the cops. several cops have seen the horns too. i think it's just when i use them that they might get ____ed - so with the new grill im putting on, it'll hide them much better - so you won't really be able to tell which car is honking so loud. leaving it grill-less sorta screams out "gimme a ticket"

haha, you're getting the stock grill right? doesnt that grill keep most of the sound inside though? Oh wait, I just saw the black mesh bit....you're going to cut 2 long holes in it? that might look weird, why not just get a total mesh grill then.....that way they're hidden still, and the grill looks 'normal' :-)

I am gona cut a huge rectangle in this spare stock grill i ordered. I think it would look more... ummmm... "stock" i think if i modded the stock grill rather than getting an aftermarket one.

plus, the way the horns are mounted, i dont know if an after market grill would fit over them. the stock grill has these plastic groves that i gotta pry off for it to fit properly over the horns. it's tough to explain but i think it'll work out in the end...

i decided against cuting 2 holes. instead im going to go with option A that i drew up in the pic on the last page. i think it's gona be a nice match to the stock grills which are on the front bumper too.

that's how it's gonna look and, imo, i think that looks hawt ;]

my parts came in today. no, no turbo here, no rims, not even an exhaust.

the stock grill + hubcaps + grill "clips" came in today... i paid like $88 for everything - shipping was $22! wtf...

anyway, imma work on the grill this weekend. hopefully i can find an old window screen to use as the mesh portion of the grill... i'll post pics when im done hacking the bejesus outta it.
