Just the rear doors, though. I always thought that the xB with rear suicide doors would be sweet!

I've been looking for a body shop in my area to do that for me but no one will touch it so far. I know Auto Loc makes a kit though.

This subject of suicides on the rear doors has been talked about awhile ago, and the reason why it hasnt been done yet is..Most people said it would be difficult to do because of the structural integrity of the quarter panel. There arnt enough veritcal material to mount a hinge and hold the door up. Open the door and take a look for yourself. you dont have much room to play with.

I'm gonna fab my own set.. it's cheaper and I've been trained...it's not hard to do, untill you get inside and have to redo the panel...but yeah I'm only gonna suicide the rear...it'll be like the Element or rx-8...

If weight is an issue, couldn't you use a CF door? CF doors are available aren't they? Or if it was for show, you could always gut the door and replace the glass with plexi. But that sounds like too much work for suicide doors.
Why not make them gull wing doors.

did you notice how the rear doors have a lip that goes under the front door? this would need to be removed in order for the doors to open/close. Also, with the rear edge of the door having the dogleg shape, there is not much room to mount hinges. It could be done, but is a huge amount of work.
