it's a hot lava

 

The TYC tailights should've come with the car. I think they're great, they look like a much more expensive housing. Especially with the chrome accents inside along with the absense of the ugly amber lighting.

I don't think the stock ones are bad really but, they just look like something you would've seen on a car in 1995.

 

I would have to disagree with you on that scionxbny...not all the hot lava's come with the TYC lights. It seems most dealers are adding them to their hot lava's because as you said they look of high quality and they match nicely with the car.....but now that I think about it....you might be right.....Never mind!!!!!!!!

If you have the TYC lights, stay with them....thats my choice... :D :D

 

STOCK ... No Rice Lights!

 

Go with whichever lights you think look the best. It's your car, customize it the way you want. Some cars look good with different tail lights, some don't. Look to see if you can find other Lava Box's with different lights, and see which ones you like and dislike. Make it your Box.

 

TYC don't look ricey :D

Just to clear things up, the Hot Lava xB's did NOT come with the TYC tails.

 

i guess they'll look ricey on a white xB. not on a BCP i think

 

I think if you have a dark colored scion, go with STOCK or the chrome housing. I want cf housing personally.
If it is a light colored scion, go with chrome housing or black out.
The TYC look good depending on the other mods your ride has.

 

Blue batmobile smoke taillight kit is my vote, of course that's what I want as well. But I really like dark lights esp. on White, Grey, & dark colors, but on Hot Lava, I'd have to see it first, but it'll prolly look sweet.

too bad you couldnt get the tyc's and paint the inner assembly hot lava to match your ride.
im not sure they even come apart.
Maybe the dealer could get you some unfinished ones.

 

Is there a way to do a hot lava color for a tint instead of the smoked or red out? I think that would look good.

 

Ya, Gary Nish Orange Ovelayed his Hot Lava Tails with a really nice orange vinyl. He did mine blue yesterday to match my BOP. He does excellent work, and clear coats the tails so that they look factory. Big ups to Nish... :D

 

I have the OG chrome tails with 3 circles and I love them.

ScionFX sells the exact same thing but now they have a new product were the surrounding area (what used to be chrome) can be painted. I wish I took a pick of their car but theirs was black on the outside area and then had the regular 3 lights.

 

i might get a pair if i sold some stuff on ebay or my other forum.
