Is the paint anything special? It looks like regular TCM to me.

No need to pay extra for what the spirits wing will cover, and the color is still TCM.

OK makes sense. I thought what the heck while you were at it and also just incase you ever wanted to go wing less.
Can't wait to see the finished product. This vip thing sure is getting popular but not really my thing. Props for all the work invloved tho.

Effin Serrano's told me that they didn't want to paint the fiberglass pieces because they said that i'm too picky and that I wouldn't be happy with the work that they can't warranty. So I'm picking up the car tomorrow and on my way to find another paint/body shop. Over a month there and this is what I get in the end. I'm so Effin ____ed. The total was supposed to cost me $2400.00 but he told me that he would charge me $1200 for the work they did (shave, paint, and semi prep fiberglass) I told him NOPE I'll pay you $1000. The paint guy said that he would give me the paint he mixed for the car on the low low. That should save me some money at the next place. I'll keep you up to date.

that unbelievable, I have never heard of a collision place that refuses to paint fiberglass and moreover back up their work. I got some fiberglass peices painted on my last car and the shop was great. In fact, I am really picky to and I noticed on small imperfection on the bumper. I just took it back showed them and they fixed it no problem and were glad to fix it and kept appologizing because it wasnt absolutely perfect the first time.

Thanks Emu. This really makes me down cause I haven't driven that thing in 7 months from being in Kuwait and I get back and my box is gone for over a month and I was super excited to finally ride out..... I can't wait for this headache to be over with.

Well the damage......
Picked up the car today for $400.
Car was pristine when dropped off besides the passenger fender.

The after math....
Stress cracked passenger headlight
Two front wheels have small scratch. needs to be refinished
scratched E'sams
$3itty Paint job
1 month of waisted time
Chrome window visors bent
Still needed to be wetsanded
paint chipping on sideskirt

I pretty much paid the $400 for all the shaving and I took the left over paint form the painter.

I already dropped the car off at a friends shop and he is going to be redoing the whole car from scratch. He is also painting the E'sams black so that I don't have to buy new ones. This guy plans on starting tomorrow. I'll be going by to take pictures of the process..... agian. Let's hope for a better out come this time!
