If you want them, get them. But if you are asking everyone here if they would, its going to be 80% saying no and 20% saying yes. Majority of people on here hate the look of it on a xb, or most compacts for that matter.

My opinion?

My opinion would be no for 3 reasons:
1. They are expensive.
2. I've never seen one up close but it looks difficult to get in and out of because of where the door is.
3. A 4 door car look funny with 2 doors going up and 2 going out.

If you suicided the rear doors, it might cool.

yeah get them
join the crowd!!
why be original, or need your door pockets
nevermind that the doors are structural members in a unibody car
chadfo has a point though
lambo all 4 doors.....it is the only way (reverse the rears!!)

It depends on what you like, If you like the way the look then get them, if you dont then dont get them it all depends on what you like. It doesnt matter what anybody else thinks about your car as long as you like it, well anyways i like the way the look on my car, I do not have a problem getting out but i do believe a heavier person would have problems with this, unless you get the 90 degree kit. Some setbacks are getting in and out of the car while raining thats pretty much the only setback i have found, Here is a pic.

A buddy of mine has lambo doors on his eclipse. They look tight, but that's about it. They don't open super-smooth and they're heavy. If his lambo doors are indicative of lambo doors generally, I'd say don't do it.

If you do them on an xB, do a 90 degree kit. That way all the lines are at right angles with the doors open and it's more aestheticly pleasing.

There are some functionality drawbacks, especially in cold weather climates when the counterbalance pistons don't lift like they should and readjustment is periodically necessary.

Do it if you like them, but don't expect them to function as smooth as a factory set-up no matter how much you spend on the kit.

Agree'd. Four doors look horrid with them. Sure, some can pull them off but its rare. Xb, in my opinion if you want to do a door mod do the rear suicide mod. Now that looks good.

Still waiting for someone to chop the top 2-3''. That would look so incredible.
