Default Tinted tails...help

this question is for everyone who have tinted their tails, wether it be inside or outside. how many layers of tint did you spray on and how dark where they? i just started to tint the inside of them and i sprayed 3 coats on the inside. when i went to compare the difference in the amount of light that can be seen, there was hardly any difference.

I did three coats, but am a little leary of how dark they are. Remember one thing - they are definately MUCH darker when assembled...

Next time, I'll do only two coats...

Here's what mine look like in the daytime. Love the look. Did mine from the inside...

I would say it depends on the paint if its enamel put on many coats if its laquer then only put a few coats on as it is less translucent

I did four layers but you have to remember in the day, that people behind you cant see anything! If you get in a wreck it will be your fault even know they hit you!

If you are painting the inside of the lights, the best product is call NIGHTSHADES!!!

Just make sure you get the can with the guys face on it wearing sunglasses. Some auto zones carry it but most of the time you have to order it. You only need one can for both lights. You will be able to do atleast 6 to 7 layers on each light (but not recommended)

Here is a site for you and the exact product

http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/VH...99_p_1990.html

GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!
