I have a white 2006.5 Xb and am looking for a great looking permanent tie down hooks to tie my kayak down. I have yakima roof racks and a stock bumper and grill. I would prefer not to use the bumper cut outs, but something nice looking that bolts to the frame or thru the grill. No Limitz Ind had a 7/30/09 picture of a nice looking tow hook (Xb Gen 2 aero and exterior post.) I am not mechanical and I want somethning permanent and complimentary to my beautiful Bento!

I have seen the Ebay Fantasy Motor Parts JDM lookalike for $34.88 each + $15 ship
as well as Fizz cabring flip rise towing hook and the J:DMHub Nukabe $112.71 free ship.
Most of these appear to be Gen 2.
Anybody have any of these on their Gen 1 Xb without cutting the bumper, grill, etc?
I know a few people that would buy these if they bolted up to the frame or were an easy install.
Any suggestions? Thank You, Jeff

 

Why don't you use the stock tow hooks and cut out a spot for them on the pop outs.
