Question Underbody Splash guard

Hey all,

I'm about to replace the belts on my '04 (and can I say what a pain in the @$$ to get to the lower alternator bolt). I noticed my underbody splash guard is ripped and hanging and was interested to know if anyone has found a good after market alternative, or if they fabbed one, what material did you use? The stock standard one is just flimzy. I might have to get creative.

I am kind of in same situation. Recently was in a minor rear end collision that damaged the front of my xB. No longer carry collision insurance so I am on the hook for the repairs. In looking for parts online I found this web site. www.discountbodyparts.com

They have all of the behind the bumper and under the car stuff like fender splash guards and the underbody splash guard (2 pieces). Each piece is about $40. Fender splash guards are around $35.
