I'm curious (as usual) Do you think there is any reverse effect with japanese bb owners wanting to put scion badges on their cars? Somebody must know. perhaps we have some way to make up rent one month in badge form.

Or maybee we could set up some sort of foriegn badge exchange program! And we could be penpals with our japanese motoring friends!

Wow, it's funny you posted this. I just put the JDM badges on my car the other day, and was asking my buddy if he thinks people over in japan would shell out $40 for the american Scion badges! That's like, 1000000000 Yen!!! It's like those japanese letter tattoos that everyone has...you think japanese kids have random words inked on in english?

Last I heard was Steven (bbist) was trying to set up a exchange program...I guess tha fell through though, seeing as how we never heard any mention of it again. Oh well.

 

I forgot what the whole thread was about, but if you guys search around a bit, there was a thread from a few months back where I posted links to yahoo auctions japan auctions for USDM emblems. Back then they were going for anywhere from 40-70 bucks! I haven't looked for them since then... but I wouldn't be surprised if they're even more in demand in Japan now.

i think we should all collect our badges and donate them to the japanese bB club. in return, maybe they can help get us deals on parts and stuff that we can't get cheaply here. a trade would be cool too.

and if they get us really good deals, lets send over some chevy bowties and ASTRO badges. i'm sure they would like those.
