Default Vent Visors for XB - Installed / Feedback !

Well, I finally decided to find some Vent Visors for my Hot Lava XB and came across these vents on Ebay. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

They arrived Saturday and I read the instructions and installed them, very, very simple and they look awesome ( Pics will be posted later this week ) - I think this is a fair deal for all 4 visors, I paid $49.95 and shipping was extra, total cost shipped by FedEx was $61.95.

These are a smoked plastic, excellent quality and the fit is perfect inside the window channel ......

Just wanted to share my find ! This seller might have more ?

Heh, cool. I just installed the same set on Sunday. I bought from the same seller and everything. I was really impressed with the quality and fit for the price. I was a bit worried considering the difference in cost between these, the jdm version, and others, but my concerns were totally unfounded.

LOL - Get em' installed .......

Here is a trick ~ if by chance you get some fine scratches in them, you can use that McGuires Paint Cleaner, put a small dab on a soft cloth and rub it in, then wipe it dry and the scratches are gone ...

Will have some pics posted later this week, the wife has my camera in NY ....

Yeah I will. It's been too hot and I've been far too lazy to even thinkabout doing anything to the Xb. I still have alot of stuff sitting in the house that has to go on the car .

I have those and I don't like them at all. It is in channel on the front and rear but on the rear a part of it is not in channel and it still uses double sided tape even though it is in channel.

Your right about hte sticky 3m tape ... Install was easy, just wiped the inside of the window channels with the cleaner, allow to dry and then peel the tape and insert ... Both of my backs are in the channel and the fronts are in the channel as well - I hated to spend over $100 for these, to me the quality is nice and they look good, pics to come ....

They are made my WADE !

Thanks for the warning. I opted to pick 'em up anyway. They look good from the outside!

Are they easy to remove for when you want to clean the windows? Are they prebent or do you have to bend them for fitment? Post the pics of them on your Box!!

Default In channels

I had a set on my Dodge Dakota for the last two years, loved-em in the sun and the rain.

ATTN:Make sure you keep your windows clean, I noticed scratches on the very top of my windows and on the vent visors after a few months.

I just orderd the set on E-bay and it was advertised as all inchannel, I bought this set because another set was $94 for all four. If it uses stickey then I will be looking for a full refund! Thanks for the heads up, wish I had seen this post first.

***UPDATE****

I just got and installed them, the stickey tape was actually to keep them on the outside edge of the channel, instead of just being press fit in every time you roll up your windows. I like the idea better than the Vent Visors I had before, they look identical as great looking ones in the pics further down. Except they look better on my TCM! <grin>

Another recomendation for the Wade Product sold on Ebay!

Been checking them out and they look good. Just may be the next purchase (price is right). Thanks for all the opinions. Made my decision easier.

Can anyone do a compare/contrast between these and the JDM ones?

Also pics would be nice

Got mine from deflectors4less.com and the price was about the same. They make a nice difference in helping to block the sun.
