I would like to lay down a vinyl racing stripe from front to back on my '06 PW. I was wondering where the best place online is to get them and if it is possible to do myself. If it is possible I would appreciate some pointers. I'm looking for and 8" stripe with a parrallel 2" stripe to go from bottom of bumper to bottom of bumper. Thanks.

 

PM randode onthe boards. He does all sorts of vinyl stuff. As for install DO NOT PAY someone to do it. so easy to do.

at the dollar store:
Get a squirt bottle
@ bottles of rubbing alchohol (the wintergreen kind actually works best but any will do)
JOY dish soap (not kidding about only JOY)

mix the rubbing alcohol with about 3 -7 drops of Joy per bottle of alcohol and mix well.

Wash your car and dry VERY VERY well dont use a soap with wax in it and dont wax your car.

Spray the area down with your mixture wherer you will be laying your stipes and go slow.set them on the car and then squeegie the water and mix out before you peel the top layer off.

Let dry for appx 20 hrs before you get them wet or wax and you'll be good to rock

I'd talk to Randode on this if I were you. I am sure he'd be more than happy to cut you the vinyl that you need. He is the man when it comes to doing vinyl. He did my vinyl on my box for me. We did a 6" wide stripe and a 1" wide stripe with 1" inbetween the two. Let me show you a couple pictures.

 

Well that is your personal opinion. midgethearsexb was asking where to get vinyl and Randode is the only one that I know of on Scion Life that sells vinyl. I personally know Randy and he is a nice guy. I tried searching for jlewi on here and nothing came up, so I am not sure if that is a person who posts on here or not.

 

Then you don't know Randode.....I am glad he is here in Az to keep our rides looking good.....If you have a problem with Randode hit him up in his PM, don't flame him here on the boards...
