Default Vinyl Snowflakes. How much?

does anyone know how to go about getting some snowflake shaped stickers? should i get them vinyl or just magnets? i want something easy to remove after the holidays.

also, can anyone give me an estimate as to how much it would cost?

get magnets, but you could probably get some cling ones for the glass cheap from wal mart, price of magnetic depends on how intricate and how much the vynil sign shops around you wanna charge, if you do the cling do them on the windows and back not the sides because the wind will take them off

How good are you with an xacto blade? You could get some white vinyl cheap and cut your own.

You could go with vinyl but you'd want to use a rubber blade when scrapping them off if you want to be safe about not scratching your paint.

But basically if you want to put them on the body of your car, vinyl would look a lot better than magnets and couldn't be stolen, but magnets would be safe and easy to remove. Vinyl should be cheaper than magnets in reality, I work with vinyl at school and it's cheap and easy.

If you're putting these on your window I'd go with some cheap cling ons.

I can do them as well, I'm just thinking in the long run the magnets/cling ons would be cheaper, simply because you could reuse them

I have light up snowflakes that go in the back window. I power them with the hot wire from the rear wiper.

Is that wire only powered when the wiper is turned on? It'd be a cool switch considering I don't have a wiper anymore.

Yes you can turn whatever you hook up to it on and off. Just use a test light to find the hot one. I extended mine out past the rear panel with plug in leads for easy access.

Yeah, the rear wiper wiring is probably the most convenient thing that I have used in the car. I installed a second done light in the back and it is wired to the the wiper wiring too...

how time consuming would it be to apply and remove vinyls? I'm kinda scared of clings or magnets flying off of my car when I'm on the freeway. I commute an hour to and from.

Vinyls are a piece of cake. you spray a water/ 2 drops of dish soap mixture on the back side and where the vinyl is going and squeegy out till flat. To remove you just heat with hair dryer and peel. It leaves no sign of ever being there.

Yes but, magnets left on during the winter can cause problems. I've used them on my work van and it cause some paint issues unless you remove them periodically and clean them.

i'd like some snow flakes too. considering i'll be taking my box up to the mountains on weekends to teach snowboarding.

i also got an idea from a friend to use tempera paint on the box. supposedly, it washes off easily. thought about filling a couple water balloons with this stuff and just tossing em at my box so it could look like a jackson pollack painting or something.

Not a good idea considering how easy the boxes dent.
