What do I do now?
Ok, so my dear husband was trying to back my Xb up the ice covered driveway, and hit the fence post. He hit the left rear corner. The tail light cover is broken (still works) and the bumper cover is cracked right under the light. The bumper is pushed out of line with the left rear quarter panel.
So, now what? How much do you guys think this might cost me?... any ideas on how to make it not cost as much?

you can use this to get a price on whatever needs to be replaced, some pictures might help.
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...31&catalogID=2
so you can use that to price out what you need to buy from the dealership or your preferred body shop. (trdsparks will not ship things the size of a bumper)
so you can use that to figure out the cost of parts, and then see what it might cost somebody to paint to match and install.

find a mom and pop body shop, you should be able to get the bumper painted for a hundred or 200, the bumper shouldn't be more then 220 from the dealer, and get the tail from trdsparks.com
Update,
I'm waiting for the insurance company to give me an estimate and a check. I've been to a couple of shops and it will cost between $500 - $850 depending on what I have done. One good thing.... hubby felt so bad, he wants me to get the upgraded taillights that I liked so much but wouldn't put on when we bought the box. (They cost too much. )
And I'm excited because I got them on EBay and they cost a lot less than the dealer. (I hope they are the right thing.) So instead of fixing the one light, we'll just replace both.
Opinion????
The rear quarter panel is fine, no dents etc. However, it does have 3 chips on the corner edge of it near the taillight. Both shops have suggested that the quarter panel should be completely painted, and one even says that the rear window should be removed so that the clear coat can "wrap around" and then it wouldn't have the possiblity of peeling later. I had some pinstrips put on when I got the car, and they will need to redo them.
Does the quarter panel REALLY need to be totally painted or could they just brush the chips? Each are about a half inch or less.
Should I be concerned about them taking the window out?
Is it possible to match the pinstriping after the other has possibly faded from sunlight? Is there a problem with removing the old stipes? (I think they are 3M.)

Just touch up the chips if they are only along the very edge, the bodyshop should be able to do that without repainting the whole panel. You def. don't want them to try and match old pinstriping.
The tailights you wanted I believe should be called TYCs. If not, you got some knockoffs. Hope it all goes well for you.

nope, no problems with matching the pinstriping, its probably toyota striping (almost 99% sure of this but can't be 100 without seeing them) I match stripes all day long, and do it so much I see frigging stripes in my sleep
and there are a ton of ways to remove them so no theres no issues removing the stripes either
