I'm going to retrofit a new emblem on my xB using a belt buckle or some other kind of metal emblem. I plan to epoxy or maybe even weld some bolts on the backside, and make some kind of spacer so it sits flush on the grille.

Anyone seen any cool logos to use?

I found these so far (I have a BOP xb):

- Biohazard Symbol
- Nautical Star - Blue/Black
- Batman Symbol
- Superman Logo
- Tiki God
- Iron Cross/Maltese Cross
- Transformers - Decepticon Logo

Any other ideas?

There are decepticon and autobot emblems on Ebay... I have one now on my hatch.

What would be crazy is to do that with those belt buckles that can flash LED messages that you program... it could go from saying "scion" to "move over punkass!"... That would be trick.

Got a pic of your Autobot actually ON the hatch? I bought the Decepticon one but the purple color is so-so. I don't think I want it as my logo. I would like to have a Robotech emblem but I can't find one anywhere.

im using the heartagram for my front grill.(NOT BAMS SYMBOL, but from the band HIM)(I HATE BAM)

 

a robotech logo would be sweet. I'm working out a white/yellow/black color scheme now. a la' VF-1S (skull leader) maybe that Bbist carbon hood with skull and crossbones. I think that would look slick as hell.

 

^That would be sooo ill. Please lemme know if you get that done. Now I kinda want to remove my bb badges lol.

its already being planned out. getting a U.N. Spacy windshield banner custom cut, yellow and white katskinz interior. yellow black external graphics. all this after I get some engine ____ installed....damn.....money money money. wish I had more of it. haha

The only thing I don't like is the hammered finish on the bezel. If they were smooth chrome I'd be all over it.

Yeah, I agree re: the hammered bezel. Looks pretty dumb. And who would actually wear that "Place Forehead Here" as a buckle anyway? Funny but I bet it doesn't exactly draw the ladies...

I got a guy in our maintenance shop here who said he's got a wire feed arc welder and would be happy to help me weld the mounting hardware on... Soon as I figure out what to get, it's ON!!!

They sell the one that boxer_rebellion has (Autobot) and I have Decepticon. Neither of them are black.


It's more plain than the image above shows. They must have polished it and the purple is less glossy and more 'flat' like. That's why I'm looking for other ideas. I thought about custom painting mine but I don't know if I want to mount the Decepticon one.

Right now, that seller doesn't have anything posted for sale so that's probably why you're not finding anything. Not sure, he might be on vacation or something. His seller name is Sanderson17, you could look him up and ask him.
