I had some on my 2000 Mustang GT but they ended up getting broken... Do they last throughout the winter or what? Are there any precautions to take? I want to get red ones but not sure if I want to blow the money on them if they are going to bust come winter time!!

 

Not sure about the winter part cuz i live in Hawaii , but i think that u should go with L.E.D insted of neon. L.E.Ds last longer , brighter , and take less power.

 

like most have said.. LEDs will be more durable, more functions etc... if you insist on neons... you may want to find extra clear tubing that you could slide the neons into..... give them that extra bit of protection ya know?
also mount them at the highest point possible to keep them away from snow/ice/rocks/salk etc

but again LEDs will be your best bet for durability, longevity etc

 

What color of LEDs would look pretty sick under my car?

 

Jus get it in multi color.... that way u can use any color u feel matches ur car....

 

I live in a north cali, and it rains durring the winter...Iv had my neons for a year to date with no probs. I think it depends on weare ya put it and how low ya are, snow might not help too.
