Default XA CF Hood Installed

First off, I wanna say that this is NOT A WORTHLESS THREAD...because there ARE pics

Want to thank OE Tuning for a great spoon style CF and to Miguel at MOB Works for the awesome paint job! Also to Jason for the initial help with install questions.

Really nice. I love how they left carbon fiber accents! Very nice.

cross-pattern fibers and smaller guage fibers; thus more fibers/square inch. lighter and stronger.

I've liked the look of painted carbon fiber, but are there any issues with paint adhering to the finish? Like your results too, I would like to show a bit more "skin" but everyone has an opinion. Either way, nice job and can you comment on if it moves/vibrates at all on the freeway?

Absolutely no problems as of yet when driving at speeds; the hood is a sub 10lbs piece and is very tightly fitted; hood latch also seems to be very solid.

Not many shops wanna touch CF for color-matching because of the finish. I went to MOB Works because they do a great deal of show cars and have more experience with CF in the area than anyone else I've heard of and their work on my hood proves to me that they're doin' it right: the adhesion, the clear-coat, it all feels and appears perfect!

Looks very nice and the tight weave carbon fiber makes it even tighter!!!! (no pun intended)

For those of you that don't know....tight weave is the higher quality shiznat commonly found in JDM components and high end USDM CF shops.
