So I bought a RS2 wing from someone on another board...

and just want to get people's opinion on a BOP with a RS2 wing. BTW, RS2 color is solar yellow for reference.

Good Idea? bad Idea? Or has the OP gone mad?

Um, dark blue with a bright yellow wing...? In visualizing it, I am not feeling it. an RS1 wing might look cool though. But not yellow IMO

paint it or get flamed, obviously if you lived in so-cal, you see the dangers of rollin around with a yellow wing

do you have a wing already? if so just bolt it up and see

if you get some yellow rims, it might looks nice

Yes, I have the wing already. I just dont wanna use the 3M super Strength Molding tape yet to permanetly stick it there.. Maybe I'll find somet way to stick it on before ultimately deciding to sell it or paint it BOP...

This thread is wortheless without pictures i suppose.

Yeah, Incorperating yellow into the entire car would balance it out. Maybe painting the lower valence front, sides, and rear. Might not look too bad, but still not my thing

I agree with the balancing out idea with yellow. Right now, I painted my covers with gold to give it a distinct look: hence my idea to go ahead with the yelllow wing.... I had plans to either

1) Paint the Spolier and Retro Tail Light casing BOP and be done with it.

2) Paint the Retro Tail Light Solar Yellow along with the front top grill and middle and low honeycomb grill Solar Yellow. Get Gold Rota Network rims.

i've seen some funky schemes, but in my head, this could looksvery clean and nice, if done right

I'm not sure that all by itself it would work. But I guess you never know.

i have gold rims on my BOP box and i was thinking about going the Blue and gold theme on my car but it wouldn't look good at all. it's hard to two-tone with BOP unless you're going white or black. Solar Yellow is way too bright and wouldn't look good at all. But prove me wrong. the whole yellow grills, tails, and wing would look great if you got some bright yellow rims.

Well hmm, if you have more than a RS2 spoiler it'll look right. My dream is to have a ............. 2-tone. (I'm not saying cuz someone may steal my dream. )

If you havnt got the wing yet, I still say go with rs1, hot lava and BOP would look sick!

Unless your a huge fan of blue/yellow. Like maybe an old school LA Rams fan or something.
For the yellow wing to work you would need more yellow stuff. Perhaps getting RS2 ground effects or yellow graphics and tinting the headlights yellow. Then maybe you could work out a blue/yellow theme. But the wing alone is not going to work in my opinion.
