I got my hands on the 2nd of the BB bibles and saw that some of the bB's don't have the body kits. I wanted to see if anyone here has removed theirs and if so how and if anyone has photos?

I've already done a couple of different searches but didn't find a whole lot of info, if anyone can point me in a better direction or any links, that would be great!

Not 100% sure what you are asking. Do you mean, if any one has removed just the factory lip kit, or if some one has removed the bumpers & side skirts? 2 different things here.

 

Sorry for not being more clear, I was interested if anyone had removed the front and rear lips as well as the side skirts from the factory.
I hope this clears it up a bit!

 

Well, I have curbed one of my side skirts, and it got ripped off. not a cool look. But, if you remove teh front and rear lips, you are going to loose a lot of support to the bumpers.

I will see if I can find the picture of my car with out the side skirt.

I've removed all these components. The front and rear lips secure with plastic rivets. You can remove them safely with a flathead screwdriver.

The side skirts are secured by screws beneath the small round covers on each end of the skirt. The rest of the fasteners are pop-off plastic rivets. Remove the skirt by pulling it up slowly and working from one end to the other.

I think the skirtless look is cool, BUT... there are yellow fasteners around the rivet holes! You'd have to remove these and fill the holes to make it look finished. Removal of the skirts is a matter of taste. I pulled mine off when I installed my front and rear lips and painted the whole set gloss black (my car is BOP). This, when coupled with gunmetal rims, made for a nice and very subtle contrast
